601 West Pender Street, where a 6-story parking structure once stood, will be transformed into an imposing 29-story tower of workspace and amenities.

This beautiful project was unanimously approved in early June by the Vancouver City Council at a public hearing.

This is how its  architects announced it a few months ago.

“We felt the best way to complete this block of heritage buildings was to create a building that was both modern and timeless and that would accentuate its context with scale and color, while incorporating nature into the urban fabric.”

Pender Building – Where will it be?

It is located in Vancouver, a coastal city in Canada and considered one of the cities with the best quality of life in the world.

Next to the historic and iconic Rogers Building, and in a cosmopolitan and multicultural urban environment.

That is where this building will rise, incorporating nature into the urban fabric and offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city.

What will it look like?

The sensitivity and attention to detail make it an urban element that will not go unnoticed.

On the one hand, the careful choice of materials, including metal, in 2 textures, and glass, folded inward at the top and bottom of the building to create green and natural areas.

On the other hand, the gridded facade provides texture and depth, while the brightness and reflectivity of the metal counteracts even the cloudiest day, making it something magical and special.

A brilliant explosion of colors, textures and nature in this timeless modern building that Vancouverites will enjoy in 2025.
